Sacrificial anode cathodic protection technology refers to the use of a metal (sacrificial anode) with a potential more negative than the metal being protected to electrically connect with the metal being protected. The metal with a more negative potential is continuously corroded and dissolved to protect the metal being protected. This is the sacrificial anode cathodic protection method.
