What is the application scope of magnesium alloy sacrificial anode?

In the cathodic protection method of magnesium alloy sacrificial anode, magnesium anode can be used in soil or freshwater environment with resistivity of 20 ohm/m to 100 ohm/m.
Magnesium sacrificial anode can generally be used in soil or freshwater environment with resistivity of 20 ohm/m~50 ohm/m. Magnesium sacrificial anode is generally not used in environment with resistivity less than 10 ohm/m. 100℃ is the temperature that magnesium sacrificial anode can reach when used. The utilization rate of magnesium sacrificial anode is 85%, so when the weight of the anode is left to 15%, it can be determined that the anode has failed. The resistivity of magnesium sacrificial anode is 50% under normal circumstances, but it may be lower due to various constraints.
Under the influence of salt water or salt water, when using magnesium sacrificial anode, the temperature should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius. In freshwater environment, the temperature should not exceed 45 degrees Celsius to use magnesium sacrificial anode, so magnesium sacrificial anode is not suitable for use in seawater. Its corrosion rate in seawater is too fast and its life is very short.
