MMO Tubular Anodes

MMO tubular anodes can be applied directly to freshwater or Marine environments as bare anodes. In soil environments, MMO tubular anodes are often pre-packaged to form shallow buried anode beds or deep well anode beds.

Pre-packaged anodes with steel casing and one or more MMO tubular anodes filled with permeable coke particles, exhaust pipe and cable protection tube.

1. Titanium substrate: ASTM B338 1 or 2 grade
2. The coating thickness is greater than 8µm
3. Out Dia 16mm, 19mm, 25mm, 32mm, Pipe arm thickness 1.0mm
4. Life expectancy: 20-50 years

Shallow anode bed refers to an anode bed with one or more anodes installed vertically (or horizontally) in the soil 1m or more underground to provide cathodic protection.

MMO shallow anode is pre-packaged. It is mainly composed of MMO anode, positioning frame, coke filler, steel casing and lead cable. For assembly, the MMO anode is positioned and secured to the center of the steel casing with a bracket, and then filled with coke filler around it.

Deep-well anode system is composed of MMO anode, gas conduction device, cable protection tube, cable, filling material, hoisting structure and other structures, Each tube is connected with 3 (2) MMO anodes in series. An anode body cable is led out through the cable tube, and the anode should be filled with high-purity, low-impedance carbon packing around the anode.
