Extruded Magnesium Anode Rod
The extruded magnesium anode rod is selected by large water heater manufacturers in the United States, Australia and China, Material is mainly AZ31B and AZ31D in the American standard ASTM B843 and the Australian standard AS2239, AZ31D has lower iron content and lower impurity content than AZ31B. Through extrusion molding, the grain is smaller, and the steel core can be penetrated through the entire anode, so that the anode rod has better conduction, support and corrosion uniformity.
The extrusion anode is generally installed at the bottom of the water tank through the nut, which is shared with the sewage outlet, with a diameter of 18-33.4mm and a length of 170-1500mm.

Our main steel core materials are SS400, SUS304, SUS316.
The material of nuts we mainly have AISI 1008, SS400, SUS304, SUS316, brass, galvanized nuts, nickelplated nuts, boiled nuts and 3" threaded sleeve, 5" threaded sleeve. Thread size is 1/2-14NPT, 3/4-14NPT, 3/4BSP, 1NPT and so on.
The nut and steel core are welded together by gas shielded welding without dew.
It is recommended to check and replace once every 2-3 years, and flexible anodes can be used for replacement if the length exceeds 900mm.
